Ron Landry's Invention
Hello, my name is Ronnie C. Landry II. Thank you for visiting my expanded Invention Listing . The idea that I have is very impressive, it has a low production cost, high volume sales potential, and a wide consumer range. The consumers that would buy the product range in age from 16-106 years old. That is a large age group. It doesn't matter if you are male or female. Caucasian, African, or Mexican. Religious, or not. A businessman or athlete. Basically anyone and everyone can and will be potential consumers to my invention.
The invention I have replaces an already produced item that has a successful sales record. My invention is much better for many reasons. The product I plan to be replacing is the vehicle window mounted flag. We have all seen them. They are out there by the millions. Some vehicles even have two or more of them. My invention is a highly improved product, that will replace these flags. (but yet it is not a flag, that is an important factor in seeing and understanding the differences, and what makes my idea better) Keep in mind that the idea and sales of the vehicle window mounted flag caught on very quickly, and made millions of dollars in profits only 10 months after it was introduced to the public. Then increasing its profits the years to follow. So it is easy to see that the sales market is already geared to my invention. The consumer will be more pleased with my invention for numerous reasons, including the fact that it will cost almost half the price that the current window flags cost. The window flags that are currently sold cost the consumer roughly about $9.99 - $14.99. Actual production cost for the flags is about $2.50 per unit The reason that I knew there was a need for the invention that I have is very easy to explain and understand. The window mounted flags that are currently being sold have a few problems. You can only read them when they are blowing in the wind, because when the vehicle comes to a stop, the flag droops and it is unreadable. But...even a small amount of wind, such as driving over 6 M.P.H. will make the flag wave so furiously that it is nearly impossible to read it. (where is the logic, and marketing research on that?) Also, the pressures of the wind and speed that these flags travel at tears and tatters the flag within the first few days that it is being used. Not to mention the fact that it wears very quickly and discolors from the rain and other weather conditions very rapidly. These are just a few of the conditions and facts that make my invention stronger. It is not hard to see that the product that is already selling and making millions in profits is not a good investment. But we as Americans continue buying these poorly made products because that is the only option available...so far.
The good thing about these flags that I like and plan to keep as part of my invention is the fact that the customer buys them to show their support of a favorite college, sports teams, car manufacture, or any other name of symbol that may be viewable. The point is that the possibilities of what a customer would want to convey to the rest of the world is endless. Just another reason that makes this product desirable. The fact that the idea is already implanted in the consumers head. They love it so much, in fact, that they are going out and buying them for $14.99 by the millions. Another reason that my invention is better is because it can be viewed and clearly read "all" the time. (100% visibility and readability, no matter if the vehicle is stopped or moving 80 M.P.H.) not to mention that there will be no fraying and or tearing, or worn out look in a few days, nor months later.
The actual cost of this product from the research that I have done, shows that it will cost approximately .54 cents per piece. That is after the initial set up charges that are implemented in the production process. (obviously the more that are produced, the lower each production piece will cost.) This invention will replace an already high volume, profitable, very popular item that is currently in the marketplace, and has been for about seven years. The profits that the window flags have generated is in the tens of millions. And it has increased each year. Mainly because of the interest and popularity of that specific product. The invention that I have, could sell for about $7.99 or more. These amounts are usually left up to the market research department when conducting a full patent. If it were to sell at that price, then you can see that there would be a $7.09 profit made on each piece. After you take out packaging, transportation, and marketing promotions, then you would net approximately $9.25 per item. That is an exceptionally good profit to be making per piece. Not to mention that there will be millions of these sold in the first year, or even the first quarter, actually.
The Companies that more than likely would be very interested in having a joint effort in being part of this invention, as far as, having their name(s), and/or logos on them, for a percentage of royalties, include, but are not limited to:
